How to get a free downloads server
I've written before that when you get a game server it is recommended that you redirect your downloads (maps, soundpacks etc) to a webserver because downloading from the game server is very slow (capped at 12KB/sec). One of my colleagues in FreeTeamPlayers has found a free web server to host all your Wolfenstein - ET files. Turkeyfiles will host all your files for free! All you need to do is upload the files in the correct directory (depending on the MOD you use) and voila! You just need to change your server.cfg file to insert the server/directory URL. In fact most of your files, especially maps will already be there since there are many people who use this free service. The download speeds are very good; I've heard of speeds of up to 400kb/sec but I can't verify that because my ADSL is not that fast. Take a look at the screenshots below

Yeah i’ve been using that for a while until the website went down and i dont think its coming back so you’ll have to find a differnt way.
