Messing with Wolfenstein - ET config (cfg) files
ET config (short for configuration - many times called cfg) are files which contain commands for Wolfenstein - ET to execute. When we talk about these files we mainly mean the configuration files which are on your PC and which control the behaviour of your game.
You can do a lot of things with cfg file like bind keys to commands (e.g. bind your mouse2 button to use binoculars) or even to change the default feeling of the game (e.g. change the type, size and colour of the cross-hair). There are many websites with this information. You can find a comprehensive FAQ on this subject on enemy-territory4players
